From the Chronic Frustration Saloon take the workout path to the middle ridge.
Cross the park road and follow the red blazes. You can pause and rest at the hilltop bench. It won't be your last hilltop, but it will be your last bench before the box.
Continue on the red blaze trail past the polka dotted maple. Cross the gully, pass the 4, and take the switchback through the pines. After you cross the second bridge take the switchback through the fern garden.
At the top of the hill take 12 paces past the dead blaze tree. You might have to look for it. Reports indicate it was cut and left at the trailside. Turn due South. The box is at the foot of the dead tree in front of you.
If you pass the second bench, you've gone too far, but you can take the box there to stamp in.
