Jackson's Orchard is a 193 acre farm is located on an elevation of 770 feet (one of the highest points in Warren County). The land has been an orchard for over 90 years.

Due to the thorn bushes, it is recommended you wear long pants to retrieve this box.
Jackson's Orchard is only open open from mid-April through mid-November.
April through August, the hours are Monday - Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., closed on Sunday.
September through October the hours are Monday - Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

You can get directions here: http://www.jacksonsorchard.com/directions.cgi?userid1=&rnd=9465

Pull into the orchard parking lot and park. You will see a large red barn. To the left of the barn is a road. Follow the signs to the Cornfield Maze. You will pass a small pond on the right and the maze entrance will be in front of you. Do not enter the maze, but continue forward on the road. The maze will be on your right and a row of apple trees on your left.

When you come to the end of the maze, you will see three large trees in front of you. Go to the third one that stands the farthest away. Look to your left. You will see a tree of 2 in the woods. Go toward it, into the woods. Be careful of the thorn bushes! If you walk down a bit, you should be able to get into the woods with minimal pricks. You will step off a small rock ledge on your way to the tree. Look under the ledge for Jack Straw.

Be sure to rehide well. If you are visiting during the fall months, I highly recommend you stopping in for an apple cider slushy and some caramel apple chips! YUM!

Note: My 5 yr old son decided he would carve on Jack too. I left the stamp as is because I decided it gave it some character. But, feel free to draw in the missing part. :)
