NOTE: This letterbox is missing. I will replace it if or when I get back to the area!

This letterbox is in Wright Park in Dodge City. From Business U. S. Hwy. 50 (= Wyatt Earp Blvd.) in the center of town, turn south on 2nd Ave. In a couple of blocks, turn right (west) into Wright Park. Follow the main park road as it curves to the left and ends at the river levee near shelter 4. Park there.

Walk up to and on the levee and turn right (west). Walk on the levee to a short distance before the trail ends at the railroad tracks. Look to your right and you will see on the edge of the levee some square wood posts with a steel highway railing attached to them. The box is on the east side of the 2nd post from the west end. It is under some chunks of black pavement and covered with some plant debris.

Please be sure the contents are double ziplocked when you put them back in the box (i.e. the stamp is in a ziploc, the book is in a ziploc, and the two are in the larger ziploc bag), and put all of it INSIDE the box. Please rehide the box well under the chunks of pavement and cover with plant debris so that it can not be seen from any direction.

I will not be able to check on this box; so, please let me know if you find it. Also, let me know if it is missing so that I can delete the clues: http://home.att.net/~azroadie/letterboxing.html

Please record your find at www.letterboxing.org/ or at www.atlasquest.com/ .

Before you set out, please read the waiver of responsibility and disclaimer.
Please be sure to reseal baggies and boxes carefully so that they stay dry and rehide boxes in their original location, completely hidden from view.
