Walk difficulty: easy.
Walking distance: about 0.1 mile one way
Stamp hand-carved
Version 2.0, second stamp, log book and location for this letterbox!
Status: alive and well on August 1, 2015

This letterbox is in Wright Park in Dodge City. From Business U. S. Hwy. 50 (= Wyatt Earp Blvd.) in the center of town, turn south on 2nd Ave. In a couple of blocks, turn right (west) into Wright Park. Follow the main park road as it curves to the left and ends at the river levee near wooden picnic shelter 4. Park there.

Walk up to and on the levee and turn right (west). Walk on the levee just past the end of the dog park to a set of two wooden power poles close together on the right side of the levee (the wires from them extend across the river). When the poles are directly to your right and you are in the center of the levee road, go at about 160 degrees (from mag. north) down slope to the first (upper) set of three crossed steal beams. The box is under the crossed beams under a white rock covered with some plant debris.

Please please be sure the contents are double ziplocked when you put them back in the box (i.e. the stamp is in a ziploc, the book is in a ziploc, and the two are in the larger ziploc bag), and put all of it INSIDE the box. Please rehide the box well under the rock and cover with plant debris so that it can not be seen from any direction.

I will not be able to check on this box; so, please let me know if you find it or if it needs attention or if it is missing:
