Difficulty: easy
Distance to Letterbox: 1/4 mile

Status of Letterbox: Alive, but log is wet.

The "Blizzard of Oz" letterbox was placed due to the Oz fest event at Memorial Park, and to honor my favorite Oz character. You will be running like a crazy train that day finding boxes, meeting new people (maybe Mr. Crowley or Mr. Tinkertrain), and recording finds like a diary of a madman. Enjoy!!

Directions:
From 610 loop, go east on Woodway Dr. Stay in right lane, and go past Houston Arboretum. As road splits, go right and continue to parking area on right (with tree in the middle of it). Park.

To the Letterbox:
Walk across wood bridge, and go left past rugby field. At trial juctions, go left and follow red trail. You will cross a small wood bridge, then hit a juction with the blue trail. Go right on the blue trail. At T intersection, go right, and go until you reach another wooden bridge. From the bridge, continue on counting 43 steps. You should be at a blue post on the right. Go behind the post for 8 steps to the back side of a large pine tree. The box is at the base, covered with sticks and leaves. Re-hide it well, or Ozzy will bight your head off!!
