This is a drive-by box!

You will find this box on the fringe of the subdivision of Wellesley. Wellesley is located in Richmond's far West End off of Lauderdale Drive, 2 blocks from the Short Pump Town Center Mall. From I-64 take the Short Pump exit, go 6 lights and turn left onto Lauderdale Drive. At the next light turn left onto Park Terrace. Drive past the lake on your left. Notice the guard rail along the lake path. You can make a U-Turn and park along side of the guard rail or walk across the street to get to it.

At the end of the guard rail, go to the loop, you will find "Quack, Quack" inside a ziplock bag and a magnetized key box. The box is inside the rail just where the straight portion begins, on the back side. The log book is tiny so you may have to stamp in a portion of your stamp. There is an exercise area here where you may sit to log in without looking too obvious. Please re-hide well so that the baggie and box are not visible to walkers. Be discreet, the community manager in Wellesley has stranger anxiety.

“Quack, Quack” was the first box in a retired series called "Just for Kids." It has been placed three times. The first time under a bench on the boardwalk and the second time on the gazebo. Each time the box was taken. The manager also ran off non-residents who were looking for the series. I decided to list one box alone as you can get to it without walking onto the main grounds in Wellesley.
