This letterbox is no longer active. Too many kids new about it and were having fun writing random things in the journal. We are happy that this letterbox was the first for many people. We will be planting another one in Plymouth soon.
The small town of Plymouth, MI is a great place for fairies venture and live! This letterbox is named after the book "Fairy Houses" by Tracy Kane (available at the Plymouth Library and also at www.fairyhouses.com).
Start at the Lions Park in Plymouth (corner of Harding & Burroughs).
From the Lions Park sign, go North about 10 paces to the great big cottonwood tree.
Go East about 20 paces to the gnarly tree.
This is the tree with nooks and crannys that are perfect homes for fairies.
Tucked down In the "V" of the tree you will find the Fairy House Tree letterbox.
Please make sure you tuck it back down into the "V" so that it is not visible. Thanks for visiting! This is our first letterbox we've planted! Try building a fairy house of your own (see www.fairyhouse.com for more info!).
