11-9-05 Box is not there. We will try to return it to it's home on Thanksgiving weekend. Sorry for all who looked and didn't find. It was totally the fault of my horrible memory.

11-26-04 And it's been there all the time. Even the placers couldn't find it, but it's there. Special thanks to Uneksia and Mis-Placed for helping me out in a couple different ways today.
Ammended clues.Instead of 14 steps, take 7 steps and look to your left. It's behind some stones at your feet.

REPORTED MISSING SEPTEMBER 2004

Planted by Butterbaby and rtrw. Stamp carved by butterbaby who was 11 at the time of carving

Difficulty – excruciatingly easy
Time – 2.379 minutes
Directions to starting place - From Hillsboro downtown, head down the hill on route 149 toward Deering. Continue for several miles and you’ll soon be climbing. Near the top of the hill you come to a “Y” in the road. The overlook is on the right side of the road, and you will know it when you see it. Parking isn’t all that easy, but I’m sure you’ll manage.

Details you should know - This spot has a lovely view and if you are there on the hour you might hear the church bells in town ringing. Please BE CAREFUL with little ones, as this is a very busy road and cars move fast.

Details you don't need to know - This is private property, but the owner allows people to stop. Please enjoy and be gentle. There is a bench mark in the ground in this corner of the field. Start in the corner and walk at a 45 degree angle. It’s a NH DOT marker.

Clues: Butterbaby suggests you sit down and enjoy the view before searching. After you are done relaxing on the bench, head to your left to the back corner of the stone wall. Then 14 steps down the hill to a small tree that has been well trimmed. Just before that tree is a large stone underneath which you will find another view. Please rehide well. This field is well cared for and we would prefer to not be discovered. Thanks.
