You are my Sunshine is hidden in Marion NC in McDowell County. HWY 70 runs right through the center of town.
Turn onto Academy Street right next door to the McDowell Parks and Recreation Dept. Park behind the building in the parking lot beside the Presbetarian Church. Between the parking lot and Academy St. you'll see a set of concrete steps with Stone posts at the bottom. Coming DOWN the steps see the stone post to your left ??? Your sunshine is under mulch and a rock.... on the side closest to where you entered the parking lot.
Be careful.... it's a very residential area... close neighbors right across the street !!
