This series of boxes as been made possible by letterboxers around the US.
Please take extra care to make sure they don't go missing.
Be sure all the ziploc bags are closed tightly, expressing any air, and above all - do not put a bag on the outside of the box - this encourages water collection.
Box #10 is located in a primarily horse park called Silver Creek - however the trails here are beautiful!
To get there take M-40 South to 134th Street East. There is a $2.00 per horse per day fee. Pets are welcome, but must be on a 6 foot leash.
A trail map - available online or at the park - may come in handy.
Clues:
Begin at the West end of Ant Hill Trial.
Here are some Tutti Fruiti to help you along the way…
-spindely oaks & baby pines
-some lovely Dogwoods
-HUGE twin trunk Oak
-10ft stump to the left
Good Golly Miss Molly! The trail suddenly turns sharply to the right.
-4 trunks – 2 trees
Now curve right into a clearing, Lucille.
-3 trunk on the right with 1 arm dead
At the Y take the Fork
From the sign pace 67
Stand next to a skinny 3 ft stump and face 122 degrees.
As straight as you can, make your way 40 paces in to the Long Tall Sally Oak nestled in the pines troubled by woodpeckers on the far side.
Check the bigger end of the log lying beside.
