Clues:

The Dark Knight came to Holly Grove to compete in the joust against any who believed they could beat him. He was strong and dare I say neigh unbeatable. The entrance to the grove was banned to those without a patence of nobility. Alas our knight had none for he was not of noble blood. The knight petitioned for an audience with the king hoping to be allowed to compete. The king agreed to hear his petition. As the knight told of his long journey to appear at the royal games the king’s Paige recognized him. The Paige knew that this dark knight was a formidable opponent. The Paige whispered to the king, whose son was also to compete this day, that the knight was undefeated. The king fearing for his son’s imminent defeat declined the knight’s request and had him removed from the festival grounds. The knight knew why he had been turned away. He saw the fear and awe on the face of many as he returned to his horse. He must seek his fortune elsewhere. But, before he can do that he must gather something to eat. Suddenly he sees movement in the brush across the road of horseless carriages. He strings his bow and readies an arrow. He follows his prey north past the place of Sher-Lock to a gravel hitching area. He sees that hunters and prey abound down the path of the green gate. The knight produces a bright orange sash to keep him safely identified. Through the gate he tracks his prey. On the right he sees a tree twisted, broken and bent over parallel to the path. Another thirty eight paces and you will have what you seek, he thinks to himself, at the base of a large dead soldier where his former limb touches his trunk. He walks behind the dead soldier and sees a larger former limb with a hole in the end.

Happy hunting
