Teddy Bear Day - Box 2 (September 9th)
As I was searching for a special place to keep my teddy bear, I stumbled across Camp Tyler. This is a neat
place to take the kids with several goats, cows, and other animals. They have a lot of programs for kids, so
you might want do some research to see just what they offer. No child should ever go to a camp without
their teddy bear, but just in case, I have hidden one hear for any who might have forgotten theirs at home.
Directions
From 110, go to 346 and turn east on 346. Go to the traffic light and turn left on FM 848. As you go down
848, you will travel approximately 2.5 miles until you see a tilted white and blue sign on your right that
says Camp Tyler. The street name is Mc Elroy/CR 2127 Turn right. Continue down this road until you see
the entrance to Camp Tyler and park outside of the gate. (You can drive on through the area, which is pretty neat) The entrance is marked by a blue fence. If you are facing Camp Tyler, turn right and walk past 5 pine trees that are all about the same size. After the fifth one, you should see a utility pole. Take about 3-4 more steps and you should see a fairly large double trunk tree with two small trunks coming out of it. The teddy bear is waiting for you behind this tree under the ususal stuff.
