Lets go to the movies #6

2005

This movie stars Kate Hudson as a hospice nurse in New Orleans who finds herself caught in the middle of morbid going-ons centered around a group of Hoodoo (Not Voodoo, it's different. Hoodoo is an old African American magic........ while caring for an invalid man at an old plantation home.

You will believe

Fearing is believing

This movie is SKELETON KEY. Beautifully set in the swampy region of New Orleans, this is not your usual HAUNTED HOUSE movie. Kate Hudson as the young nurse is impressive. John Hurt plays the invalid man and even though he had only a line or two, he's always awesome.

To find the SKELETON KEY you start at J E Broyhill Park in Lenoir. J E Broyhill park is on HWY 321 north in Lenoir. Turn left beside "BO's" Bowling alley and entertainment ctr, at the light. This will put you on Finley Ave. Follow Finley Ave around (VERY curvy road) until you see a large cemetary on the right. The back entrance to the park is across from the cemetary.

Walk through the park to the "Front". Here you will see a wooden bench overlooking the playground. The bench is in front of a large grafiti tree beside the sidewalk. Follow this sidewalk to the right. to the veranda with the green railing on your left. From here you'll see a set of wooden steps. Take these steps down into the grassy area of the park. Straight ahead of you from the bottom of the steps you'll see a tree with 3 trunks with a rotten place at the bottom. Look for a V tree. Walk THROUGH the V tree. As you step out of the V, take 32 steps straight ahead. Turn to your right.... take 32 more steps. Just slightly to your left, up a few more steps, you'll see a tree with a big bubble. Here is where you'll find your key, in a hollow place under that big bubble, covered by pieces of bark !! BE CAREFUL..... use a stick to poke around in the hollow... never know what might be in there !!!

Thank you for going "TO THE MOVIES" with us. Check the clue list... and be sure to find Movie #5, also hidden here.Rehide well.... and be sure to bag, box and OUTER bag the letterbox, as the box doesn't have a tight seal.
