To get there: Drive south from Sisters on Elm Street, which becomes Three Creeks Road as you leave town. The road turns to gravel about 2 or 3 miles before you reach Three Creeks Lake. When you reach the lake turn right and drive into the 'Driftwood Campground'. Park in the day park or find a campground space and pitch your tent.
Go to the camp register across the gravel road on the lake side where you will see a trail to the left of the message board. Follow the trail to the lake shore. After you get on the lakeshore trail, head west. You will see tent camps on your right & the lake on your left.
Stay on that path as you cross over two log bridges along the way. When you reach the second bridge at the south end of the lake, up in the trees, you will come to a fork in the path.
Follow the path to your right. The path will climb and wind upwards & along the small creek on your right.
When you come to a waterfall you will see a sitting log in front of it, walk over and sit on the log. You will have a wonderful little waterfall flowing over moss covered rocks on your left. Look directly behind you.
Find the silver, broken, snag. In front of it you will see two rocks in the bank. Climb your way to the rock closest to the silver snag where you will then find Riverdogs very first letterbox. Have fun!
