This box was placed in Pennsylvania in July 2007, but due to the possibility of construction at the plaza where it was located I picked it up and have now replanted it.
Walk is about a .25 of a mile round trip from the parking lot.
Located at Brady Westbound Rest Area on I-80. By Mile Marker 199.
West end of rest area there is a gravel two track service road. Shortly after starting down this track there is a service road to the right that leads to the septic field. Walk past this intersection. Fifty feet before you come to an opening in a fence where, again, vehicles are not allowed you will see an older two track heading into the sunset. Before turning off the gravel road stop in front of this new road and take a reading of 295 degrees. Take 45 steps up the two track to the top of a small ridge. Again take a reading of 295 degrees and and down the ridge you should see a tree about 18 steps in with some logs leaning against it. What is there? Could there be a Big Truck hanging out?
Please be careful to hide the box again in the nook of the tree so it can't be seen from the ridge and it protected from the elements.
Thanks for finding our letterbox! We would love to hear from you if you found it or if it needs any TLC.
