There is one ink pad, please bring your own for the rest of the boxes.

To get to the Epsom Town Forest which is located on Tarleton road. Take Route 4 East of the Epsom Traffic Circle to Center Hill Road (Blakes Brook Campground) on your right. Follow Center Hill up the hill to Mountain Road on your right (Campground). Take Mountain road until fork for Tarleton road, bear left. If road conditions allow continue on unmaintained road to parking area on left.

The parking area is on your left after you start to see boundary markers for the Town forest. Tarleton road is subject to gates and bars. If road conditions do not allow please park at end of the maintained road and allow for rescue equipment and homeowner access.

There is a mailbox with trail maps.

It is a 45 minute hike up to the peak. This is not stroller friendly and does require medium exertion to complete, but the views are outstanding.

Clues:
Follow Tarleton road, bearing left at all times staying on Tarleton road. Watch for the first cellar hole on your right with a huge old Maple tree directly in front of it. This was the home of William Tarleton and his family, they had six children. He bought this property from his wife's father Ephraim Amazeen in 1810. The letter box can be found by going around to the left of the foundation into the basement opening. Once in the basement, look to your left for the box hidden in the wall of the foundation. This box has a stamp and ink.

Note if you are wandering around the Town forest, you might be interested to know that there were actually two working mills on Tarleton brook running at the same time many years ago.

Continue along the road to the Blueberry hill housesite on your right. Once you have found that, go directly across the road to the 4 trunked old birch tree and look behind that for your letterbox. Be careful to avoid the huge flat rock sitting on top of the well.

You will now continue up the road to reach Neville Peak, there you will have an uphill climb that levels off and end up with views of many mountains. Once at the peak follow to the campfire ring in the center. From the ring take a bearing of 35 degrees and look for an old pine tree with many trunks, buried on the right at the base of this tree is the last letterbox. Stamp up and follow the road back to the parking lot.
