sorry this letterbox was ruined. I am guessing because of duck creek flooding. looking into replacing soon.
This letterbox is in Middle Park in Bettendorf, Ia.
Take the middle road exit off of the I-74 in Bettendorf. Head east and about 2 miles down the road turn south on 23rd/Spruce Hills dr. Take an immediate right into the Splash Landing parking lot. You will see a road on your left, turn left up that road until you hit the parking lot on the end. Park at the end of the parking lot closest to the road. Good luck. Beware of the disc golfers. Hope the clues make sense. I'm not as poetically advanced as some of you ;-)
Start your trek downhill til you meet the path
Head west on your quest
Pass hole #10 but stop when
A big fallen tree to the north comes into sight
A good hiding spot it it might be
But it's not the one, you see
Head north past this tree
And follow the stream
Take the "bridge" to the other side
Don't go too far
Stay on the path
Or a pile you will pass.
