Riverside Hole in the Wall
Do not search after dark
BYO ink/pen

***MISSING ALREADY!!***
I will try to find a better hiding place and update the clue soon.

From the Parks Department website:
Riverside Park is Manhattan's most spectacular waterfront park, stretching four miles from 72nd to 158th Streets along the Hudson River. Since 1875, the landscapes of Frederick Law Olmsted have offered escape from the city and opportunities for people of all incomes to relax, play and socialize in tranquil settings. His design for Riverside Drive made it is one of the most beautiful boulevards in the world, affording views of the Hudson River along its serpentine route

Take the #1 to 103rd Street
Walk west down 103rd Street until you reach Riverside Park crossing both sections of Riverside Drive.
Descend the stone staircase staying close to the right side
When you reach the bottom keep walking straight a few paces until you come to a low metal fence.
Look over the fence and down (about knee or thigh high depending on your height)
There is an easily reachable crack in the wall where you should see a bit of a reflection glinting off the black plastic garbage bag your prize is wrapped in as camouflage.

Afterwards you can continue walking in the park past the dog run to 105th Street and have a drink or lunch at the Hudson Beach Café overlooking the beach volleyball courts. The view is gorgeous on a summer evening at sunset (OK it’s a view of New Jersey but it’s still nice.)

PLEASE BE EXTRA STEALTHY, THIS IS A HEAVILY TRAFFICKED ROUTE ON WEEKENDS. AND PLEASE RE-WRAP CAREFULLY AND REPLACE BOX AS FOUND

I haven’t had much luck finding boxes in Manhattan so hope this one lasts. I will try to keep an eye on it.
