Clues
Terrain: rough trail, then steep
Distance of walk: <1 mile
Elevation: 50’
Wheel chair friendly: no
Pen colors: black
Getting you close:
Take Exit 62 from I-84, go south then East on Cascade Ave, continue to 13th St. Take a Right, stay on this road as it zig-zags along (about 5 miles) until you cross tucker bridge. Look for a fade right on the North side of the bridge, then another right into the park.
The Box:
From the day use area, take the ‘river trail’ to where you can go no farther without leaving the river. Now back up a little, see the sharp corner of concrete up the bank, to the right is a small steep trail that comes to the sand. Go up ‘til the trail goes L, look R to the big rock, at its L is a small rock. Pull out the small one to reveal the box.
Please re-hide well, scatter some natural ground debris over the hiding spot. Make it look natural.
Hope you enjoyed the hunt. Since we don’t live in the area we can’t check on this box very often. We appreciate an update on the boxes condition. Thank you.
