***** missing*****Christmas in Comfort is an old tradition that always occurs on the Sat. after Thanksgiving. It is a tourist attraction due to the shopping, entertainment and food during the day and a lighted parade at night. Many people from all over come especially for the parade. The streets are packed with people in lawn chairs or sitting on quilts ready for the long parade. There are many Bed and Breakfasts that attract lots of people here. The downtown antique shops and outdoor booths offer a variety of gifts and nick knacks for shoppers.
This box is to commemorate the long standing tradition.

To find the box, go to The Comfort Park located off of Hwy. 27.
Park and walk to the Pavilion to the Historical marker about "Freethinkers" the immigrants that came and settled Comfort. Behind the marker are bushes that circle the pavilion. The box is hidden behind the 10th tree under rocks and leaves.
