Theodor Seuss Geisel (March 2, 1904 – September 24, 1991) was a famous American writer and cartoonist best known for his classic children's books under the pen name Dr. Seuss. Some of his books include: The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, Fox in Socks, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. His books, with his trademark rhyming text and outlandish creatures, have become staples for many children and their parents and I recommend reading all 44 of them. Since he was born in Springfield, MA, I thought it would be appropriate to put this box dedicated to him somewhere in that town. And what better place than the Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden located at The Quadrangle nestled within several museums. It is accessible from 9 till dusk, so come enjoy sculptures of his characters and this box hidden among them.

Directions:
From the North, take I91 South to Exit 7, turn left at the 2nd traffic light onto State Street. From the South, take I91 North to Exit 4, stay on Columbus Avenue to State Street (3rd traffic light) and turn right. Once on State Street, go 3 blocks and turn left on Chestnut Street. Go one block and turn right on Edwards Street, then right into the Springfield Museums' parking lot which is free. Additional public parking is nearby.

Clues:
From the museum parking lot, walk through the gate into the Quadrangle and find the sculpture of Dr. Seuss. From it, walk south on the walkway past light pole #16 and some bushes on the left to another walkway. Turn left and walk 3 steps so you are directly behind the light pole and the second bush from the corner. The camo microbox is hanging from its branches in the middle. Please replace well and be discreet.
