NOTE: This Letterbox reported alive & well on July 18/09.

The 'Arkansas Natural Bridge' Letterbox is a very easy find for those Letterboxers travelling from Little Rock north on US Highway 65 toward Branson.

The Arkansas Natural Bridge is exactly as described - a natural bridge over a ravine that was used for many years by a family with 6 children to cross the ravine to get to 'civilization'. Today, it is an interesting tourist attraction.

The Arkansas Natural Bridge is located 1 mile off US Highway 65 about 75 miles north of Little Rock and 100 miles south of Branson. The nearest town is Clinton, 3 miles south.

The Arkansas Natural Bridge is well signed along the highway and the parking area is accessed about 1 mile NE off the highway.

The Arkansas Natural Bridge is about 100 yards from the parking lot.

There is an easy trail from the parking lot to the Natural Bridge. Make sure you visit the old still along the trail.

Once you have viewed the Arkansas Natural Bridge, carry on along the trail about 25 yards where you will see an opening up the hill.

Stop and look downhill where you will see a large single tree.

The 'Arkansas Natural Bridge' Letterbox is located on the downhill side of this large tree hidden under some rocks.

Once you have found the 'Arkansas Natural Bridge' Letterbox and signed in, thank you for replacing the Letterbox to ensure the integrity of its hiding place.

Please ensure that there are sufficient stones protecting the Letterbox so that it is well protected from the view of passersby. Thank you.

Please contact us by email at peter@brill.ca to let us know you found this box and the condition it is in, plus any other comments you may have. We look forward to hearing from you.

Happy Letterboxing!
