from downtown shelbyville. turn north on 7th street. pass clear creek park main entrance. turn right at shelby county athletic center. look for the shelby county conservation district nature trail. (park at ballfields, trail starts behind restrooms for ball fields). from entrance to trail go about 50 paces and look for "sugar maple" sign on a tree then search around fallen trees for letterbox.
