This box was hidden as part of a program with the Kalamazoo Public Library. The box is hidden on land owned by the library at the Washington Square branch, and should be pretty easy for small children to find (with parental help, of course!) Note that the location of this box is pretty close to heavily-used Portage Road and the library itself, so care should be taken when searching.

Start at the tall, tall pine tree in the Southwest corner of the yard behind the library. look North towards the parking lot of the library. Walk to the pair of twin trees between you and the parking lot, about 64 adult-sized steps. Stand in the gap between the two sets of two trees and look across the parking lot. Do you see the light post on the far side? Walk to that light post, and then look back towards the library until you see the big tree next to the library with what might be a parking lot for ants on the side. From there, walk up the hill to the door in the garden and find the box near where the Itsy-Bitsy Spider would be hanging out.
