This box is located at Sam Houston Jones State Park, north of Lake Charles. At the entrance gate, ask for a trail map. This box is located on the "Orange" Trail.
Once you are on this trail, this box is fairly easy (geared especially towards those families with smaller children) to find. It is a very nice walk with alot of good views of the river. When you get to the first bench, back-track approx. 10 steps. On your right hand side you will see 2 pine trees that are joined together at the bottom. The letterbox is hidden on the backside of these trees. It is under a log. Please recover the box!!! Thank you and have fun!!
