This is my third in a series celebrating the best of children's literature. This box is placed in one of southern Indiana's best-kept secrets: The T.C. Steele State Historic Site, just east of Bloomington.

Find your way to the parking lot of the site, then walk past the large studio, to the cemetery. Take the "Trail of Silence." You'll walk downhill quite a way, and once you are at the bottom of the hill, you will see to your left a very large felled tree that has been uprooted and left a mound of dirt. To your right is another (perhaps the same?) felled tree. Examine it carefully to see "Y" we decided to place the box here.

Get back on the trail, and when you have a decision to make, turn right at the "Wildflower Trail." It will take you back to the parking lot.

Bring orange ink if you've got it!
