This letter box is set in between Centerville and Richmond Indiana at Cope Environmental Center.
From 70, take Exit 145 and go south on Centerville Road for 3 miles to the traffic light in Centerville. Go east (left)on U.S. 40 for 1.6 miles to Airport Road. Go South (right) for 1.3 miles to Shoemaker Road. Go west (right) for 600 feet to the Homestead Entrance--4910 Shoemaker Road.
In the parking lot next to the small Education Center there is an information area. Lift up the small wooden door to reveal sign in logs and free trail maps. Go directly north on the D (Discovery) Trail. You will see the Kite Pond off to the right. You will go over a small boardwalk bridge this is to the far left (or directly west) of Kite Pond. You will enter a beautiful pine tree area. Notice there is a tree (about 4" in width) that has grown twisted. Ahead (north) of you will see the Kite Shelter, up and to your right (to the north east) you will see the pond's edge and Cypress Knees rising up through the ground. Please do not step on the Knees. They are not native to this area.
Now, back to your left (west) where another trail the B-R (Blue Red) meets the clearing (at the back and side of the Kite Shelter---NOT THE FRONT) you will see a few pine trees at the left (south) of this intersection. This is where you will find our Lost Treasure in a Glass Jar. This was placed

our stamp after using it. Thanks and have a great day at Cope. pixiedancer@verizonmail.com
