and I want to paint it black. This ones for you Chuck.
From route 17 in Durham (Main Street)follow it until you see Picket Lane. Picket Lane is right next to Strong School which is right on route 17. Take Picket Lane all the way to the back to Coginchaug High School. Park in the back parking lot past the basketball court and track.
The trailhead is in the Northeast corner of the parking lot.
Follow blue/red until it intersects with yellow. Take yellow and follow it along until you cross a bridge. Continue on, this is a new trail, yellow blazes are visable but the trail is not that worn yet. Soon you will be skirting a field on your right and the trail will re enter the woods. When it takes a right, at the first yellow blazed tree you see look at 240 degrees Southwest to a huge wolf or mooning tree. Look midway down the limb that has fallen from this wonderful tree for I see a red stamp..
To get back to your car just retrace your steps.
