This series of boxes as been made possible by letterboxers around the US.
Please take extra care to make sure they don't go missing.

Be sure all the ziploc bags are closed tightly, expressing any air, and above all - do not put a bag on the outside of the box - this encourages water collection.

Box #5 is located along the Allegan State Foot Trials.
To get there take A-40 South to Allegan Dam Rd. to 118th Ave East.
A trail map - available at the game area office - may come in handy.

Clues:
Park at the Trail Head parking.
Head South on the only trail from this parking area.
Head down to the base of Blueberry Hill.

At the T head right
That poor old caterpillar on the left – Ain’t That a Shame?

As I’m Walkin’ I discover first a tree with seven trunks and then one with three.

I’ll cry A Valley of Tears over an old Oak shedding its bark on the right.

Keep your eyes to the Right and up, until you notice a behemoth Oak that’s partially broken.

Pass under a leaner and eventually find “Kyler” on the left.

Pay no attention to the craggy old stump on the left, It’s You I Love.
You may, or may not notice the yellow blaze on a “V” tree just after the stump.

Once you find the Whole Lotta Lovin’ beech – Whoa! Check it out!

From the point on the trail where Beech & Oak align, staying on the trail pace 56-57 stop short and head 28 paces Due South to the alligator’s mouth.
