This series of boxes as been made possible by letterboxers around the US.
Please take extra care to make sure they don't go missing.
Be sure all the ziploc bags are closed tightly, expressing any air, and above all - do not put a bag on the outside of the box - this encourages water collection.
Box #1 is located in a primarily horse park called Silver Creek - however the trails here are beautiful!
To get there take M-40 South to 134th Street East. There is a $2.00 per horse per day fee. Pets are welcome, but must be on a 6 foot leash.
A trail map - available online or at the park - may come in handy.
Clues:
From the Picnic Area parking head Easterly up hill from the bathrooms & office building.
Roll Over Beethovan and go south in a sandy way.
Reelin’ and Rockin’ over roots from the giant pine on the right.
There’s Too Much Monkey Business on this trail. At the Short Cut take it East.
Johnny B. Good and keep a look out for the BIG hollow log on your right.
When you reach the 8-10 foot thick stump with it’s broken part crossing the trail head around Sweet Little Sixteen paces (+5) @ 220 degrees to a fallen tree.
The box is hidden where the fallen intersects with a Brown Eyed Handsome Man - or tree if you will.
