This box was placed as part of a new group of letterboxers I have joined who love both boxing and the music of the Grateful Dead. This box celebrates some of the images used by the band and you must seek out a very common symbol used on your hunt.

Bring your own ink, black yellow orange and blue recommended. This is a TWIN stamp, meaning that you stamp both sides of the stamp. Stamp the back first using your background colors, then turn the stamp over and stamp the front in black. This box is a drive by but discretion is a must if it is to last. If you have some grateful Dead playing on the radio it will put you in the right spirit.

Clue:
Take "a very" nice "drive" in Tulsa and look for the steal your face along the way. Once you see its blue and red you'll know it. From this symbol shining high (note I do not condone this sort of thing but I can appreciate what it represents) drive west about 1/10 of a mile and look for an odd large rock sitting four feet off the road on the same side as the symbol. Under the back edge of the west side of this rock behind a medium stone is the Bear, Turtle, Blackbird pouch. You may have to turn around to best approach this one, but I recommend pulling over right next to the boulder and grabbing the pouch and driving off to stamp. Repeat the pullover and replace it in its hiding spot when you are finished.

Please replace the so it looks like you found it and hides the pouch completely. Please contact me through LBNA or at ahistory@centurytel.net to let me know how this one is holding up, especially if the box goes missing or is in need of repair or removal. I only visit the area a few times a year so any updates are a welcome sight.
