The "Safari Man- On The Highway/ and Interstate" series depicts things one might see as they drive the highways of the U.S. These are targeted mainly for rest stops but might pop up anywhere. This letterbox is titled Hot Rod. Happy traveling!

Clues: Traveling Northeasterly on I-90 (southwest of Buffalo) get off at the rest area (primitive) after the 443 mm (between exit 58 and 57 I think. (NOTE: this is not a full Rest Stop but rather a parking area, as noted by Holland Reef Keepers, THANK YOU!!!) Head for the other end of the car parking area and look for the chain link fence along the back side of the rest area as you go. As you near the end of the parking area you will see where the chain link fence ends, a gap, and then a square wire fence begins. Park and head for the gap between fences. Upon reaching the gap, discretely look to see if you are observed and if not proceed through and look right for the leaning trees. Go to the second or middle one and look overhead for the end of the leaning portion and at the end of it notice the broken off end and the hole in the end. Look within this hole for your quest.....The HOT ROD took a wrong turn and met this tree. Actually hiding places are hard to find in rest areas and if you are short, you might have trouble finding this one. Wishing you success and discretion. You might want to return to your car to do the stamping and reseal everything well before returning it to its lofty hiding place. Think stealth as you retrieve and replace the pouch please.
Hope you had fun with this respite from a long drive.
Let me know if it is still there and the condition please. Cordially,
Glenn/Safari Man of Vincent, Ohio
