This is the first plant for my ten y/o son. One of his favorite things to do in CO is to ride dirt bikes or 4X4's in the fresh air and beautiful sunshine. This stamp is to commerate this fun.

To the box . . .

Take Hwy 92 East from Delta towards Hotchkiss.

Turn left (North) towards Cedaredge/Grand Mesa on Hwy 65.

Cross the Gunnison River (we often see Bald Eagles here in the winter).

Head up Cory Hill (the Swallows nest in the cliffs on the right).

Pass mile marker 2 at the top of the hill.

Turn left (West) on Fairview Rd. (If you get to the Cory Market/Post Office you have gone too far.)

Wind your way down the hill, across a small bridge, noticing the green fields on both sides of the road in the valley. When you get to the "Dobbies", it looks like the desert and it is NOT green!

Go to the set of wooden fence posts on your right. There may be several cars parked in this area as it is a public spot to enjoy a ride.

Count 45 posts, which includes the corner post. At the bottom of the forty-fifth post, you will find a small pile of lava rocks. Underneath the rocks you will find "Riding in the Dobbies".

It is obvious that "riders" are more trashy than "boxers", so feel free to bring a trashbag with you. We can help them keep our environment clean for all to enjoy.

As always please be discreet and rehide carefully.

Thanks and happy hunting.
