We created this letterbox because we have yet to learn of one located in Clifton Commons... Tinkerbell has been playing here since she was a baby in what she has nicknamed "Castle Park" because the large wooden structures resemble the many castles she has pretended to live in while playing here.

This is our very 1st attempt at planting a letterbox - or at carving a stamp... As a result, the stamp is very primitive and not all that gorgeous, but 8-yr-old Tink designed it herself to look like "Cinderella's Castle" (what she has nicknamed the stamp itself) - the place she'd LOVE to live someday! We hope that you enjoy our 1st letterbox!

Please feel free to drop us a line and let us know how we did! :)

****** This is a micro-box, please bring your own ink pad and pen ******

CLUE:

Park at the playground (or as we call it, "Castle Park") and follow the brick walkway around the playground to the right. When you find the swingset, not fenced in, cut through the trees and into the field. Head torward the back of the baseball fields, near the woods. Follow the gravel path keeping the baseball field on your left and the woods to the right.

Head to the snack shed that says "Clifton Park Baseball League". When you see the 6 stumps in a circle, bear right and walk around the next baseball field on the grass (keeping the woods next to you on the right and the playing field to the left).

Once behind the scoreboard, look to the right and follow the path up a small incline through the woods. You'll see a house on the left. When the path splits and you can only go straight or right, follow the one to the right. Just past the bench on the right, you'll see a large, 3-trunked tree. 1 living, 1 dead, and 1 fallen over. Step up on the large trunk and look deep inside the stump of the tree that has fallen over and you will find our letterbox! :)

Go back to the bench and stamp away... Please re-hide carefully as this area is often crowded during warmer months. :) Simply continue to follow the path a few more feet to find your way back to your car. :) Have fun...
