This letterbox is located in Letchworth State Park, near the Portage Bridge and the Upper Falls. The closest park entrance is Portageville. Look for a small parking lot right near the bridge. It will be marked with signage detailing the history of the bridge. Park in the lot, and look for trail #2. Follow the trail to the top of the hill. When you reach the chainlink fence, turn right and continue following the path. The path will begin to go downhill. To your right, you'll see a large broken tree with a perfect hollow for hiding things.
Once you've found the letterbox, you'll need to retrace your steps to return to the parking lot - there's more chainlink ahead.
