******Dec 9 2007**** this letterbox had to be removed this morning. I can't say yet whether it will be replaced (it was vandalized...), but promise to keep this page updated.... Thanks to all the LB-ers who visited!!

Come into Hudson and take our main street west 'til it ends. Park here if you're not already on foot. Walk up the steps toward the flagppole into this park perched high overlooking the great Hudson River. Take in the beautiful view of the lighthouse, river, and Catskill Mts.

She is waiting for you there; there, to the left. She's there everyday. Do you know who she is? You'll soon find out.

Her base is a combination of rocks and concrete. 2 rocks are loose, however, covering a tiny cave where the letterbox holding her story can be found. Careful not to trample the lillies!

This park is underused and underappreciated. You may find yourself alone with her, but you will be in full view if anyone else is there. Please be very discreet, and make sure you replace the rocks so the box & plastic cannot be seen.

(note: Logbook has suffered much moisture and lots of ink bleeding already; Please rewrap in all provided bags. Stamp pad provided, but no pen.)
