If you are driving just take 7th Street in East Moline all the way to the river, follow signs to The Quarter (take note of the sign for The Quarter so you can remember the placement of the stamps in your book).

From the boat landing walk up to the bike path and turn left, I must apologize as when I first thought up this series I wanted them all to be easily gotten not to far from the boat. However, if you want this series of stamps you will have to walk about 3/4's mile each way for a mile and a half round trip. The pathway is paved and level, as a bonus there are 4 stamps to be found, instead of just one. TAKE NOTE the Channel Cat doesn't stop at The Quarter on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

PLEASE NOTE this is a VERY busy bike path. Please take a look both to your right and left before stooping down to look for the boxes. Bikes will quickly come upon you so be vigilant. Also, all boxes are right next to the path. You will not have to climb down or over any rocks (I figure the walk alone would be the challenge).

These are hand carved stamps, bring your own ink. Color recommendations; blue, yellow, red & green.

Ok, down to business. Walk towards Campbells Island, see the bridge that connects it to the main land? Nothing impressive, but kinda neat anyway.

Walk until you come to the John Deere site with LOTS of combines you will see to the left of the path a fenced in area that says, "Gate Well P" now look to the ground, shortly past this a crack that severed the path, now filled in with tar will be your stopping point. Stop at the crack and go to the rocked levy to your left, the "River" stamp will be underneath the FIRST cluster of rocks (you don't have to climb on or over any rocks).

Re-hide well and continue down the path in the same direction you were until you come upon "Gate Well Q" again the first crack in the path that is patched with tar is your stopping point. Stop and go to the rocks to your left, this box is covered by a small orange-ish rock will be the "Lighthouse" stamp.

Re-hide well and continue down the path until you see a huge radio tower to your right. Walk up until you stand just past the tower . . . at that point the fence to your right will push in to allow a gate. As soon as you come to this point look to the rocks again, the "Train" stamp is under a large white/rust color rock with a smaller white/green rock wedged under it.

Continue down the path until you enter McNeal's Reserve, you will know you are in the right spot when there are trees on both sides of the path. As you enter the Reserve you will walk past 4 large wooden posts, two on each side of the path. Now count 5 wooden posts on the right side of the trail, the "Leaf" stamp is in the top hollowed out part of this post.

These stamps will take you about an hour or so to retrieve (including the walk back to the pier), take your time and enjoy the day . . . another boat will be by soon.
