Mission Creek Park is located on Crawford rd. between Pickard st. and River rd. It is HIGHLY recommended that you bring bug spray for this one!
Begin in the parking lot and walk east. You will come to the sled hill. Continue east across the hill and find the path going into the woods.
Walk along the path for awile and you'll soon come to a wooden bench where the path becomes two. To the right is a wooden stairway that goes down to a small stream. To the left, the path follows the small stream from up high. Go left.
You will find a large tree on your left that splits into five trees. Find this and you'll know you are heading the right way.
Soon the path will become two again. To the right, the wood bark path follows deeper into the dark woods. To the left, it becomes a small bright grassy path. Go left.
At last, you will come into a small opening with a VERY LARGE grassy hill in front of you. Look for the big Oak tree located on the right side of the path close to the hill. Across the path from the Oak tree is an old small scraggly tree stump. There you'll find the box. Please re-hide well with dead leaves. Thanks!:-)
Continue on the path around the right side of the hill and you'll soon be back where you started. Happy hunting:-)
