11-4-07 Replaced no located along middle bar section
Surrounding the Guadalupe County Court house is letterboxes all within walking distance or short drives.
1. Pecan- The State Nut of Texas, 3. Freedom Fiesta, 2. Zuehl Gate, 4. Memorial Rose Garden (Corazon), 5. Doll House, 6. Los Nogals, and 7. Campbell Cabin (numbers represent a suggestion of the order to go in). As of today 7-8-07, they are all in place. We hope you enjoy your time in exploring Seguin. On 8-5-7 the log book and a new stamp were replaced. Be sure and really snap the small tin shut so water does not get in. Thanks
ZUEHL GATE: This is a famous structure that once was part of a historical families cemetery. A portion of the fence and gate reside on the grounds of the Guadalupe Co. Court house. When arrive in Seguin you will need to get to the corner of S. Austin St. and W. Donegan St. After reading the information on the fence and gate, study the gate section very closely from bottom up. It is a microbox attached at the base of the gate.
Please be careful during high traffic times, you might need to act like you are posing for a picture to grab the box.
