BIG KNOB IV
STOP SIGN #2
Getting there: Take US 2 west past M 117 one and a half miles to Big Knob State Forest Campground turnoff (If you get to the Beary Patch Restaurant on the right, you have gone too far.) Turn left and continue down the dirt road for 1.6 miles until you come to a road on the right.
Clues: This was supposed to be the original stop sign box, but we got mixed up. So we planted another one thinking the other was lost, but in fact, it wasn't.
Turn right and follow this dirt road past the gravel pit on the left until you come to an original, authentic STOP SIGN in the middle of the forest.
Look directly behind the stop sign under some rocks to find what you seek.
If you reach the metal gate, you've missed the stop sign.
