Connecticut Forest and Park Letterbox.
This box is in the Connecticut Forest and Park Association building in Middlefield, Ct. on Route 66.
The box is accessible from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
To obtain this box you must bring with you a picture of yourself or with permission, a picture of someone else enjoying an outdoor activity. It doesn’t have to be letterboxing, it can be anything to do with getting out and enjoying the outdoors in one of our forests or parks. If you are camera shy some other ideas might be a favorite hiking trail, a tree you especially like, kayaking in one of our beautiful lakes or even a picture of a wildflower or bird you’ve seen while you were enjoying the great outdoors.
The picture should be 4x6 for it will be going into a photo album and as there will be no logbook you should stamp the back of your picture with your stamp.
We can’t wait to see what you have been up to and where you’ve been!
