Enter the Cemetery near the Washelli Mausoleum Columbarium, across street from big sign stating 11,111 Aurora Ave North. If you are travelling south on Aurora, this will be a left turn at the light.

Take a right and see the American Doughboy. Think about all those sons, brothers, sisters and mothers who served in the military and are buried today among all those white memorial markers.

Park anywhere you like and walk around the grounds. Find the Edmond S. Meany Memorial Pool. Sit on the bench facing the Washelli Mausoleum Columbarium and enjoy the fountain. Reach behind you with a right hand and find the letterbox.

Be sure to place it back and check that it is not visible from several angles, or from the other side of the hedge. Stamp up, and think of me back in Vermont looking up Edmond S. Meany. Wonder who he was...

PS He was in the publishing business in Seattle WA.
