I searched in the woods for a box with no name.
It felt good to be out in the rain.
In the woods you can remember your name
'Cause there ain't no one for to give ya no pain.

On the first part of the journey
I was lookin' around for clues.
There were plants and birds and rocks and things.
There was pond and hills and rain.

The first thing I met was foundation stone
On the left and the south.
The heat was hot and the ground was wet
But the trail went all around.

Of the two ways, the opposite one.
I was lookin' at a sitting rock
And the story it told of secrets below
Made me think that it sheltered a box.

I searched in the woods for a box with no name.
It felt good to be out in the rain.
By eighty-five I remembered I came
To a pond with a clue in its name.
