The "Safari Man- On The Highway/ and Interstate" series depicts things one might see as they drive the highways of the U.S. These are targeted mainly for rest stops but might pop up anywhere. This letterbox is titled TO THE RESCUE. Happy traveling!

Clues: Traveling Northbound on I-75 get off at the rest stop between the 178 and 179mm and park anywhere. Go to the main building and then across the long wooden bridge and follow the concrete sidewalk to the end. Take a heading of ~ 195º to that light pole and then head ~220º to the tree line way down there. Walk the tree line hunting for the "broken and leaning at the base" bare trunked (no bark) tree. (And if you can remember, take along a couple of small 4" diameter rocks to put on top of this letterbox to hold it down during the eventual floods that will surround this tree in the spring. I would have, had I known ahead of time that I would not be able to find another hiding spot in this huge park). Upon finding the box, take it away from this tree and find a grassy spot to sit upon and stamp in (or go way back to one of those picnic tables) and please reseal the baggies well and reseal the lid well to keep out the inevitable water that will surround this jar. And also, please make sure you are unobserved when retrieving and replacing this box in the base of the tree and cover it well to keep it alive and well. Hope you had fun during this respite from a long drive.
Let me know if it still there and the condition please. Cordially, Glenn/Safari Man
