The Crescent Trail is a footpath in the Town of Perinton. Twenty-six miles of trail wind through wooded hills and scenic wetlands. The Trail connects with the Erie Canal Heritage Trail along the banks of the Erie Canal, to the Perinton Hikeway-Bikeway, and to trails in the neighboring towns of Pittsford,Victor, and Macedon.

You want to be in the Indian Hill section of the Crescent Trail. The entrance is off of Rt 31 E. On the right between Turk Hill and Hogan Rd.

Go up the 2 steps to the beginning of the trail. At the fork take the path on the right. Go up a pretty steep hill, the path will come to an end on a "T". At the "T" go left. You will be entering a field, before getting all the way into the field, take the path on your immediate right. You will see an orange and blue blaze on a tree as you enter the path. Walk a bit, and on the left you will see a small clearing with a fallen tree. On the other side of the path, there will be a big tree with an orange smiley face painted on it. Keep going straight until you come to a tree that is shaped like a birds leg on the right. It will have a blue and orange blaze on the "ankle". At the "toes" of the tree, underneath some rocks and sticks will be the box.

Watch for more boxes in the other sections of the Crescent Trail! We hope to hit all of them.
