Replaced 6/09/2010, old location got wet and ruined the box.

Pawtuckaway State Forest, off Reservation Road (which is off Rt 107)you will find the entrance to North Mountain Trail, (trailhead #12) park your car here and follow the signs. Take North Mountain Trail Bypass to Boulder Trail. Once you get onto Boulder Trail walk until you find Boulder Field. This is a large area deep in the forest where there are huge boulders all around and a small stream trickling through. As you follow the trail you will crosss the small stream and as you do so there will be a huge boulder on your right. Turn and face right. There will be a smaller boulder on your left, the huge one will be on your right and the small stream will be in between them. Walk about 8 paces toward the boulder on the left and your treasure will be hidden under a rock near the boulder.
Stay awhile and explore all the boulders, it is a very unique area. It took us about 2 hours at a leisurely pace one way to get to this area. The terrain is not difficult. If you continue on the trail you will connect with North MOuntain Trail and you can make a loop of it by going over the mountain to get back to your car. The trail over the mountain is more steep. We spent about 6 hours total, with lots of time to climb rocks and to have lunch on top of the mountain. ENJOY!
