**** UPDATE *****
As of September 12th, the location of this box has been marked with lots of NO TRESPASSING signs. These were not there when the box was originally placed. As a result, I have pulled it temporarily and am currently looking for a new location, preferable within the same Town of Vestal park. Stay tuned!!!!
Guiding Them Safely Home was originally part of the Nautical Postal Letterbox Series. It guided itself safely home a short while ago, and is now resting safely as a traditional letterbox. But it's been all the way out to the Pacific coast, which is more than I can say for myself!
Here are a couple hints to the location of the box:
1. It's in an area owned and maintained by the Town of Vestal
2. It is one of the soggiest (if not the soggiest) parts of Vestal whenever we get heavy rains.
Once you've located the place where the box is hidden, here are the clues to find it:
COMING SOON
Due to the location of this box, if flooding is predicted in Vestal IT WILL BE TEMPORARILY PULLED!!!! Please contact me if you're making the trip from out of town and aren't sure if it's in place or not.
When finished, rehide carefully and enjoy the view!
