Decipher the signs and locate the streets/roads to find the mystery of Meshimeneconing!

CLUES:

Go to where the "Natives and Settlers" meet where the Grand and the Looking Glass rivers come together in downtown Portland. It's near where they might also stop for a bite to eat on the outside patio.(While you’re here, stop for a bite yourself!) Count the letters, but not the title.

Find the (4-15-5-24-8-25-15-17) (8-5-6-38-44) rock by the black skeleton laying across the stream. (Hint: You can see it from here!)

At this rock, translate what the chief has to say and figure out his riddle to get there:

(2-10 1-6) (9-21 7-3 10-13 3-29) (12-1 5-28 8-18) (13-5 11-5 5-35 4-3 1-13)

(4-2 3-10) (10-24 7-2 8-1 3-35 9-21) (2-11 3-4 13-6 2-18 11-11 12-6)

(6-4 10-40) (5-28 3-14 9-3) (9-30 1-32 1-8) (3-23 2-12)

(11-11 3-4 1-6 9-10 4-2 1-34) (5-2 6-14 8-7 10-7). (8-2 9-2 7-7 6-7 7-8)

(1-2 4-8 10-29) (12-1 1-10 11-11) (13-1 8-16 5-18 2-2 12-6).

(10-4 4-2 5-18) (9-32 10-28 11-13) (13-5 12-11 1-14 12-33) (5-1 5-8 5-23)

(7-9 8-8 2-3 1-2 10-1 13-3 11-11 6-15) (10-11 3-10) (7-1 8-12 3-5)

(1-4 3-23 5-2 6-7 5-6) (3-10 6-1 10-39 9-20 3-5 5-14).

Riddle of Meshimeneconing:
“Charlotte" meets at "Bridge" and travels south two and a half miles south to pick up "Towner" (He is not wrong, but right)and travels to the next dirty intersection. This Chief was "left" to go to the dead end on his own.

At this point, you can see a sign directing you which way to go to something historical. Follow this old trail into Meshimeneconing, also known as Shimnecon (apple orchard), and you will find what my message says to look for. (Don't worry, it's a little ways in, but definitely worth the walk.)

Now, go back to where you were told to go in the first place and head northerly back along the trail you walked in on to a sandy opening where the turtle lays their eggs at the "Y". My spirit stands at the bluff about 40 "crow flaps" away up the rise. I rest at the feet of another brother.

**You are advised to bring bug spray and wear orange during hunting season! And..enjoy the silence and beauty this place has to offer. Bring your own stamp pad!(And perhaps you should utilize your car and a good county road map!)**
