Up the hill past the place
Where a lost pet may stay
And down again by
Where the horse finds its hay

If you travel in front of
Beau Beau’s big heart
You’ll know that you’re off
To a very good start.

Stay to the right
And you’ll flow
Past Spot, Chee Chee
Puggy and Mo.

The steed’s stone to the right of the trail
Holds two clues in its fetters
Note the first letter of the last two words
And count of the longest words letters.

Round the bend
There you’ll find
Cartoon names
Of all kinds.

Back up to the road
You’ve already trod
Past the cross-shaped gazebo
And head over the sod.

Back down the hill
On a new road you go
From Pingle to Rex
How many small stones in a row?

Down around the second
Loop you will wind
There at the bottom
Leave the road behind.

Follow the stone wall
‘Til at the corner you find
A last name that may bring
A gruesome rhyme to your mind.

Lizzy Bordens’ pets
These indeed are.
The second word’s first three letters
Will help you get far.

Look back up the hill
And you can see
Semi-circular stone walls
Go to number three

Dear Rover was a good friend
To Mr. and Mrs. Brown
But how many years
Was Rover around?

Now look up the rock lined path
The end’s in sight
Put your clues all together
To lead you right.

The sum of the numbers
Are the steps you will pace
And the word that you build
Is the gnome’s hiding place.
