In Canyon Lake Park, you can find one of the only thing left from the Rapid City 1972 flood. Imagine a house floating away and leaving its stone ____________ . You can find the letterbox by the tall stone object's shelter. By the way, its shelter was dedicated to "Chet" Andrew.
When the shelter was first added, with it came a little gravel sidwalk below it. Of course, you'll see boulders. Check them. You might have some luck in the bottom layer. Good luck finding.
In July I placed a stamp and a stamp pad in the letterbox. I hope it is still there.

The letterbox is back!

The letterbox isn't there anymore. :-(
Hopefully in the coming weeks, I'll be able to place another one soon.
